Final Reflection
I have many things to reflect on in this class. The experience I have gotten, successful project I presented, interviews I have conducted, and new skills that I have learned are extremely immense. First, When I started this class it seemed to be difficult for me. But as long as I got used to it everything flowed smoothly. I found it interesting, and it was fun also. After only couple months taking journalism we went to a field trip at University of Maryland, it was an amazing trip we had. We participated in different workshop, and we have gotten a time to talk to professional photographers and writers.
Besides all fun things things, I had experience, which I could not get somewhere else. In this class I got opportunity to conduct professional interviews. The first assignment I got was to write an article and conduct interview. it was not quiet easy task to me, but I was able to finish my assignment on time, and it was well written, quoted, and presented. This first article, and my hard working in journalism class won me a prize of the best student in our class. After that, I got promoted to be an assistant editor it was at the end of first semester.
However, at the beginning of second semester I became co- editor. Being an editor was a great experience I had. Regardless of it to be a hard task; I enjoy to spend my leisure time editing articles, and sometimes I have to do it for an extra time after school and even when I get home. Furthermore, I didn't stop writing articles I published three articles and two projects I worked on with my teammates.
In conclusion, I thank my teacher Mr. Pesa, Coach, and Patterson High School staffs who helped me to accomplish all work as well as my classmates. They motivated me, and support us in everything we want to do for Patterson press.
THANK YOU ALL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
